What Is the HUBZone Program?
At its core, HUBZone encourages agencies to allot at least 3% of their budgets to businesses located in historically underutilized areas.

HUBZone Eligibility Criteria
- Must be recognized as a standard small business by the SBA
- The firm’s main office must be located within a “Historically Underutilized Business Zone”
- Minimum 35% of employees must be a resident of a HUBZone
- Owned and managed by at least 51% of U.S. citizens, or a Community Development Corporation, an Native American tribe, or an agricultural cooperative
