The Challenge
The old VMWare infrastructure the client was using had constraints and the current software was unable to be rewritten. The client expressed a desire to move to the cloud as it would optimize their processes. Their current system was not achieving the clientโs business goals and was in need of modernization through a cloud-based solution.
Our Solution
Fortuna BMC shifted the client from their old system to a cloud-based solution. This included using ServiceNow as well as some scripting to be able to build out the capability to deploy the client to the cloud. Getting the client access to the cloud allowed for the doors to be opened for access to Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, both of which improved the clientโs automation capabilities. An increase in automation allowed the client to deliver their technologies rapidly through the cloud, modularize and scale the delivery of services. Fortuna BMC also utilized the IoT system to build out a capability that allowed the client to control any of their devices from anywhere in the world.

The Outcome
Fortuna BMC was once again able to deliver solutions on time and under budget, completing this project in under six months. The team was able to get the client shifted from their old infrastructure to a cloud-based, automated system that allowed the client to deliver their technology solutions more effectively than before.
